Wake Up People!!
I'm going to come right out with it. I'm pissed! I'm pissed off at how complacent everyone has become. Nobody wants to do anything about the way things are. Gas prices are absolutely ridiculous. Never should any American citizen utter the words, "I found a place that wasn't too bad it was $2.95 a gallon." There's something wrong with this picture. There is SO MUCH we can do to stop this and it doesn't take a whole lot on our part. The economy is in a recession right now. Don't let these talking heads on TV bulls#!t you with this "We're in a slowdown." F@#$ that! It's a recession, and one of the biggest problems facing the progress of the economy's rebound is GAS. Most American can't afford to continue their normal way of life when their budget for gasoline...getting from one place to another is doubled! What do people do to keep themselves from starving or not being able to pay for their house, utilities, or insurance. They do one of two things. Cut back on spending, thus decreasing the amount of money circulating through the economy, or they run up their credit cards causing them to go into debt. The almighty government has made it harder for someone to claim bankruptcy (Yet they excuse the debts owed to them by other countries...and the national debt keeps rising everyday.) so they'll loose all of their stuff, become homeless and then live off of Uncle Sam's tab. Let's see how fu#%ing long that lasts before the nation's economy crashes. Suppose everyone DID manage to claim bankruptcy. That's going to put the creditors out of business and send the economy and stock market crashing down fast and hard. So what do we do about it? What CAN we do? There's been plenty of suggestions to boycott buying gas on a certain day. Well, that's a good theory but ultimately unrealistic. People need gas. The trucks that bring everything we buy to every place we buy it from can't go without gas. (By the way to fill up a tank of a big rig now costs between $700-$1,000 per fill-up.) Well here's how I see it. We the people are in command of a group of individuals known as Congress. They might have the lowest approval ratings of any congress ever, but they're OUR representatives. If we don't like something we tell them to fix it. If they don't, we don't vote for them. It's as simple as that. How do we tell them what we want? We FLOOD their offices with emails, faxes, and phone calls. We need to tell our Congressmen to relinquish the taxes they have on gasoline which would lower the prices by a startling amount. As of January 2008 the AVERAGE gas tax was 47 CENTS PER GALLON. That's just the average. There's so many taxes tacked onto the price we pay it's not even funny. The second thing we tell them is to allow exploration and drilling in the oil rich parts of Alaska known as ANWR. Now before any of you shot any of this bull crap that the environment would suffer listen to the FACTS. I'm not going to bore you with endless statistics so I've done some research and made it simple for you. I hate research but I hate the state of our economy even more and I want you to help out in this cause. Since the Alaskan pipeline was built in 1977, population of caribou have increased tenfold. Moreover, technology has advanced so much that the footprint made by drilling has become tiny. If the current oil extraction site had been built today they would take up 64% LESS area than they do. Several wildlife reserves run by the Audubon Society allow drilling IN the reserves. People, I'm an environmentalist, I don't think that oil should be our only source of fuel. There's so many better way and many American companies are making huge strides towards making efficient and clean transit a reality for everyone. Please Please Please call, fax, email your senators and House representatives. Tell them you want cheaper gas. George Bush begged the Saudi leader to crude oil prices. That makes me sick to my stomach that our president is being such a candy ass. Tell our Congress what we want. Tell EVERYONE. If you have any questions about my sources or anything else, or if you have any ideas, E-MAIL ME. I want YOUR FEEDBACK. I will post the numbers and email addresses of every congressman's office by state in the very near future. Thank you for your time. Help me make this work.

SEX!! Now that I have your attention, let's talk about violence....and sex.
This is one of my favorites. It's the only one from Myspace I had left to put up here. I hope you enjoy it. Send me some love!....or hate that's cool too.
If you know me at all you know I love the show Family Guy...everytime I sit down to watch my beloved show filled with witty farts and my (in)famous Peter Griffin laugh it begins with these lines..."It seems today that all ya see is violence in movies and sex on TV, but where are those good old fashioned values on which we used to rely?" Though intended to be a throwback to the classic and politically incorrect show of yester year's televison, "All in the Family," it's really...a pretty good question. What's my point? That violence and sex shouldn't be allowed in movies or TV? No. In fact I'd be mad if someone did away with violent movies. I love horror movies that make you cringe and make you wonder why in the Hell you're watching this depravity. Sex on the other hand, though entertaining, doesn't really hold any sort of priority when I'm choosing a show or feature film to watch. When I say this, two questions pop into people's heads...the first of which is "Are you gay?" The answer is no. I'm straight and very confident in my sexuality. The second question would be..."Why not, Chris?" Well here's the thing. Both violence and promiscuousness are morally depraved and for lack of a better term trashy. However, if someone watches a film about a bunch of attractive college kids getting tortured and slaughtered they will more than likely be disgusted or disturbed. If they're not that means they have no soul or the movie sucked. Yet if someone watches a movie about a bunch of attractive college kids screwing each other, they're going to become aroused. So? So sexuality is so welcomed and encouraged in society that nobody sees any harm in doing what they do in the movies or on TV...reality TV shows like Flavor of Love and I Love New York, go so far as to make sex and love seem synonomous. Do I think that people who watch trashy over-sexed TV are bad people? No, in fact one of the most chaste people I know...a girl who has vowed to save herself for marriage (a noble vow to make especially nowadays.) and has not once wavered even the slightest bit from her vow...is OBSSESED with trashy TV and trashy music. Violence is everywhere. Sex is everywhere. You can't even go dancing without having an arrogant sonuvabitch yell at you about how he's gonna cap a mutha or how much he wants to bang that crazy bitch. Most people are not going to watch a violent movie and go on a killing spree. If they do, then they had problems before hand and should've been locked away. Most people will however at least entertain the possiblity of some sort of sexual encounter with someone after watching movies which border on being soft-core porn and listening to music that forgot what innuendo...and music are. So again...What's my effing point? Sex is dangerous and people need to be taught that it isn't something to be taken lightly. I don't think it should be banned or anything but at least treat it like what it is...a vice. A lifestyle that often leads to ruin whether it be physical, emotional, mental, or spiritual. People in the media are so quick to call movies that go under the genre of horror, depraved, trash, or not worth your time. Granted they usually are pretty bad but sometimes people will write off a movie for being violent without even considering it's other elements. But movies that are overly sexual, music that is clearly made with no talent (music rant coming soon.) and is openly vulgar, degrading, and just plain bad, and TV shows about stupid ass celebrities sleeping with a bunch of other stupid-asses...are hailed and welcomed with open arms. Call it like it is that's all I'm saying. Learn to keep your damn pants on...and if you're really one with so little will power...masturbate! (Wow was that forward or what?) Maybe you don't think sex is a big emotional thing. Maybe you don't care if your partner cares about you. Maybe you don't give a damn if your partner has had sex with other people and is thinking about those people rather than being in the moment with you. Maybe so....but what if you end up falling desprately in love with someone who does want someone who truely cares, who does want their partner to be in the moment with them, who wants to be with someone who sees sex as an expression of love reserved for only the deepest kinds of love. What then? What will that do to you and your relationship? I love sickeningly violent movies...I don't mind a steamy sex scene or trashy TV show every once in a while. I read Stephen King who is a master of both so...yeah. All I'm saying is that people should be more careful and see that sex shouldn't be as widespread as it is. It's a vice that should be treated as such. Keep your pants on and your knives sheathed. Don't be the reason people try to censor our movies and television.

This one is for the ladies...mostly.
I wrote this a long time ago while one of my closest friends was going through some shit. I still think it's a pretty good blog and it definitely sparks conversation. I've gone back and revised parts of it. The original is still posted on Myspace.
I feel compelled to write this. It's about sex and how much guys suck...Yes I said it, guys SUCK. Big whoop wanna fight about it? There are few guys like me left. I'm not trying to be conceited but I am a "nice guy" and sometimes it seems like that's a rarity. I have encountered so many guys who's only interaction with women is staring at them and doing anything they can to get in their pants. The "hot" guys, the "playas" the "pimps." They aren't cool. They're sluts. That's right SLUTS. People need to stop glorifying these guys and call them for what they really are. Girls are emotionally vulnerable for the most part. These womanizing d-bags know this. Many guys know just the right things to say to hit exactly the nerves to get "some ass." When you ask most girls (and some guys) about sex the common answer is "Only with someone I love" Well I'm here to let you know that isn't good enough. It's far more important that they love you in return. Plus if the person you're with truly cares about you, they're not going to try and talk you into something so big like sex to begin with. I understand that sometimes it just kind of happens but that's where self-control kicks in and it's up to you to stop it before it goes too far. Girls are more likely to see sex as a very emotional thing... and that's what it is. Many guys on the other hand, see it as a good time. Just to let everyone know, hot or sexy guys are most often the ones who will take advantage of a girl. That's why I strongly dislike attractive guys. I wish girls would look around and realize that the best guys aren't always the prettiest. I cannot comprehend why they don't see that. I can't imagine treating a woman like some guys would. I can't stand this shit. Guys talk about women like they're just...items. Oh yeah! pussy! whoo hoo! That mentality does nothing but cause pain and it pisses me off really freakin' bad. It turns wonderful passionate, pretty girls into hollow shells. Sex is a powerful thing meant to bond people together. Girls become attached to a guy and end up being hurt by his manipulating. All I really want to tell everyone is that girls need to be smart about the guys they pick. I understand that girls can get urges that are just as strong as a guys. It's not like girls don't think about sex outside of the context of love. They do but they need to be strong and not give in. Guys could use a bit of self control too. Remember I'm not accusing all men of being barbarians, but there are simply way too many guys who use women for their own pleasure with no regard to her feelings or how badly their manipulations may affect the girl's self-esteem. I've personally witnessed what happens when someone lets lust consume them and blind them with the false pretense of love. It's bad. Anyhow, the long and short of it is to be careful ladies...pick a nice guy...you'll be glad if you do. Don't give yourself up to someone just because they're attractive or even "sweet." This goes for both guys and girls. Realize that sex is a gift you are giving the other person because you're exposing yourself to them in extremely intimate ways. Respect that and be careful. Some guys just don't get it...be careful.
